“We’re hoping it becomes something we do every year and it’s something the girls can look forward to,” Austen said. “It could turn into more than just giving away Cheap Long Prom Dresses dresses, it could turn into a pre-prom party.”

O’Sullivan’s mom, Susan, has helped her daughter organize the project and plan the event, and she said she hopes to see the event continue into the future.

She said she is proud of her daughter’s work to initiate the Fairy Godmother Project.

“She’s really someone who puts the other person first, so it’s never about her,” she said. “It’s always about others, that’s just who she is.”

Megan O’Sullivan said the community has supported the project from the beginning, and as a result, there will be dresses in a variety of sizes and Cheap Prom Dresses 2017 styles from which the young women can choose.

Austen said the project will be continuing beyond this year’s prom season, and those who wish to donate a dress can call the Teen Center at 466-9905.
